A COMMUNITY CONCERN IS GOING TO BE PART OF A NEW PBS INITIATIVE CALLED THE AMERICAN GRADUATE PROJECT. KQED in San Francisco will be the first to broadcast the film in April as part of their offerings for this project, and then it will be offered to all the PBS stations under the American Graduate banner.

The conference, which takes place March 23rd and 24th, 2012, at the Harvard Graduate School of Education, will bring community organizers, education researchers, youth, educators, funders and other stakeholders together to discuss the contributions of community organizing to school improvement and equitable education policy.
